One shared edge
Align a section's heading, text and actions on one left edge; centre only short blocks.

Why it matters
A shared edge gives the eye one line to scan down. Centring everything starts every line at a different place, which slows reading and leaves long text and lists ragged on both sides.
How to check it
At 1440, heading, text and actions share a left edge; centred text runs 3 lines at most.
The default it guards against
Every section centred: centred heading, centred paragraph, centred cards and centred buttons, whatever their length.
