Group by proximity

Keep space inside a group smaller than space between groups, at every width.

Draft — not yet reviewed by a maintainer

Why it matters

Space is how people see what belongs together. When a heading sits as far from its paragraph as from the previous section, the structure has to be read instead of seen.

How to check it

Measure gaps at 1440 and 390: label to content < item to item < section to section.

The default it guards against

One uniform gap applied to everything, so headings float between sections instead of attaching to their content.

Library items that apply it

No library item applies this rule yet. Items list the rules they follow in their taste notes, and this page picks them up automatically.
