Why it matters
Invented proof is false the moment the component ships with it, and placeholder claims are routinely left in. Honest UI states only what is known.
How to check it
Trace every number, logo and quote to a real source, or label it fictional demo content.
The default it guards against
"Trusted by 10,000+ teams", a row of placeholder logos, five-star ratings and testimonials from people who don't exist.
