Readable line length
Cap running text at a readable measure (about 65ch), never the full container width.

Why it matters
Long lines make the eye lose its place on the return sweep; very short ones break phrases apart. A fixed measure keeps text readable however wide the screen is.
How to check it
At 1440, every body paragraph has a max-width of 80ch or less.
The default it guards against
A paragraph stretched across a 1280px container, or a hero description inheriting the full page width.
